Lord Jesus is “the Vine” and Tom Walker, as every born-again, is a “branch”. It has been my habit to consider fellow branches – what motivates them and what doesn’t, their degree of loyalty to Christ, the strength of their connection to the Vine – things like that. I had befriended the Tom Walker branch several years ago. A very unusual branch this branch, laden with much fruit. I notice that though the fruit just keeps increasing, the Walker branch doesn’t feel the strain. Strength flows freely from Vine to branch. Not only is Tom well connected to the Vine, you see, but the Vine is well connected to the branch.   Larry.  4 February 2018.

I know very well the lukewarm wishy-washy path I have walked on for the past 10 years of being a Christian. I am now drawing near to the place of complete surrender to Lord Jesus. My past choice has simply been not to fully surrender. I need to make the commitment very soon before it is to late. I pray Father God Your will be done in me on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus name I pray, amen. Chris. 25 February 2018.

It’s so easy to repeat this prayer without actually meaning it indeed. I’ve done that so many times in my sleepy mind at the beginning of the day…The daily crucifixion of “self-will” will allow us to have freedom from the tyranny of SELF. No more self-sufficiency, self-exaltation, self-depreciation, self-pity, self-absorption, and you name it. It is for freedom that the Christ has set us free. The marvelous resurrection follows after the crucifixion. We are free to be transformed into His image for His glory as we walk in the new way of the Spirit. Let us be faithful in taking up our cross daily, so that “His will” will be done by the Spirit, and this will become “our way of life.” Miho. 26 February 2018.

Amen. Great read Tom. Hope you are well !! Have a blessed day. Darian. 26 February 2018.

I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one today. Chi. 18 June 2018.

“If … speak and act … in accordance with the leading of the Spirit, then their symphony of testimony, exhortation, admonition, revelation, teaching, worship, and praise offered would bring such gladness to our Father’s heart …” How beautifully said and how true that we try to settle with the second hand relationship by putting someone else on the pedestal when all the time the Lord is wooing us to come to Him directly with unsullied love. Thank you, Tom, for always directing us to the One and Only. Miho. 2 July 2018.
